Two bottles. Two journeys.

The 44-Year-Old whisky was drawn from three exceptional 1978 European Oak casks, specifically selected long ago for this new experiment. The whisky was then split into two casks which took diverging paths of maturation.

Port Ellen Gemini Remnant
A finish that sets new life in motion
The second of these twin whiskies embarked on a new maturation journey within the Port Ellen remnant cask. The Port Ellen remnant cask is likely to have touched some of the distillery’s most historic whiskies. This finishing technique imbues the whisky with a golden garment of sea salt, smoke, dried fruit and oak.

Rarity and Collectability

Presented in an unfolding, mirrored case, Port Ellen Gemini holds two 70cl crystal decanters featuring sections of each of the treasured casks that nurtured this precious single malt within the stoppers. Registration is now open to learn more about acquiring this highly limited release.

Terms and conditions

Delivery of rare and collectable whisky from Justerini & Brooks is currently available to 29 locations*.

The price of the Port Ellen Gemini, inclusive of UK VAT and Duty is £45,000, the final price will be subject to local taxes and duties as they apply to the shipping destination, and this will be at the collectors’ responsibility. Registration will open on the 6th February 2024 and close on the 5th March 2024.
