Pinot Gris, Clos des Capucins, 2023

In what feels like a theme this year, the 2023 Pinot Gris is produced in a nice tight and juicy style, with a gentle stone fruit and lightly honeyed finish. Really quite an acid-driven example of an ostensibly "entry-level" Pinot Gris, it is bone dry with just a hint of caress - making it an excellent food pairing to a whole range of poultry based dishes, for example.
