Marquis de Calon Ségur, St Estèphe, 2017

The 2025 Marquis de Calon is darker and more brooding than Capbern, but doesn't quite have the same finesse. There's still plenty to enjoy here though. Lots of dark griotte fruit, floral accents, damsons, aniseed, liquorice and clove. Plenty of weight and power framed by slightly earthy tannins.
