High floral aromatics, clear slate tannins, a little leaner than in recent years, full of bright cassis and blueberry fruits, with the gourmet notes coming in the second wave bringing chocolate, smoke and campfire. 3.66pH. Harvest September 2 to 23, 30% new oak for ageing.

The 2025 Le Petit Ducru offers gorgeous up-front fruit and terrific energy to play off the natural richness of the year. Dark red cherry/plum fruit, mocha, new leather, licorice and dried herbs all run through this Merlot-driven Saint-Julien. Medium in body and quite svelte, the Petit Ducru is an absolute delight.
