Meursault, Les Chevaliéres, 2013

Fine bright golden fruit on the nose while on the palate this is all about wonderful minerality, purity and tension. A Meursault that sits firmly at the stony, flinty end of the spectrum, with great balance and beautifully clear and resonant notes of lemon and bergamot on the finish. This comes from 28 year old vines that are situated in the middle of the slope in very stony soil. Aged for 21 months in 40% new oak.
