A restrained yet intense cuvee with green toned fruits and a cool nuttiness that pulls the fruit together. Quietly intense, traditionally styled, and likely to age rather well over the mid-term. A vineyard planted in 1981 located just above Bonnes Mares, En la Rue de Vergy is planted on poor, rocky limestone soils. Aged in barriques for 18 months, 15% new oak.

The 2022 Morey Saint-Denis Blanc En la Rue Vergy has a slightly petrol-y and Germanic bouquet that opens beautifully in the glass. Quite intense. The medium-bodied palate has a generous entry, quite spicy and phenolic, finishing with a dash of lemon thyme and lemongrass. Another superb white from the Domaine.
