Serious, precision winemaking. An incredibly noble, classy Bourgogne of svelte texture. There is detail and vibrancy to the fruit here, too. Lifted cherry and hedgerow berry flavours. This boasts such deftness and sensuality. A top class Bourgogne from vines on the slopes north of Marsannay near Dijon. The soils here are gravelly, rather like those of Beaune Greves. 30% whole bunch fermentation.
