Marsannay, Clos du Roy, 2014

Lovely luminous ruby colour. Just two barrels produced from one of Marsannay's finest vineyards. Incense and spice combine with taut red fruit, rosehip and redcurrant. This is a delightful, but also serious Marsannay. A cuvee made from a plot of 70 year old vines.
