    The 2019 Beaune Grèves 1er Cru, which comes from a one-hectare plot on the southern limit of the  climat, has an open-knit bouquet of red berry fruit infused with hints of tomato. It is a nose that wears its heart on its sleeve. The palate is well balanced with edgy tannins, tart red cherry fruit mixed with strawberry and a fresh but leafy finish. Drink after 2–3 years in bottle.
