From a parcel that produces some of the lowest yields on the Meo-Camuzet estate, these small millerande berries produce intense wines. This is from one of the higher Echezeaux parcels in Les Rouges du Bas lieu dit, giving wines of finesse and pronounced acidity.

Picked on September 8, the 2023 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a vivacious bouquet with animated red berry fruit, blood orange and crushed stone scents. The oak is very well-integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, but there is ample grip and density, especially toward the finish. This is a very composed and statesmanlike Echézeaux.
