Prunier Bonheur
St Romain, La Combe Bazin, 2022
justerini & brooks tasting note
Clean and fresh on the nose, citrus leaning and plenty of zesty zip. The palate is tonic, cleansing, salty and zippy, but not hard. A West facing site on poor soils that combines great ripeness with excellent natural acidity. Nutty touches coming through with air. 35-year-old vines. This has some real character!

The 2022 Saint-Romain La Combe Bazin has an attractive bouquet with yellow plum and light, lemon zest aromas—Saint-Romain showing its best. The palate is well balanced, taut and linear, with crispy acidity and flavors of lime and Golden Delicious toward the lightly spiced finish. Fine. Tasted at merchants' 2022 Burgundy tastings in London.
