Taissy, 1er Cru, 2019

A new pure Meunier addition to the range this year, and a wonderful complement to the Ludes Meunier cuvée. Hailing from a single plot of vines planted in 1963, on north facing chalky soils that are a little richer than those in Ludes, the Taissy cuvee offers a highly varietal expression of Meunier, with beautiful waves of apricot and spice and plenty of breadth and depth. Caressing, flowing with fruit across the mid-palate before culminating with notes of delicate spice and chalk. 100% barrel fermented and aged for 48 months sur lie. Dosage 2 grams / ltr.
