Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Fuder 10, 2025
More expansive than Fuder 6, though wonderfully integrated, it offers heady notes of white tea, stone fruits and ripe peaches, plums and cherries, layered through a richer texture, supported by racy acidity. Typically, Fuder 10 carries a little more botrytis influence and greater concentration, and that distinction is evident once again in 2025.
critic reviews
The 2025 Riesling Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr Auslese #10 contained some botrytized fruit. A sense of apricot is shy and still a little smoky on the nose. On the palate, this morphs into peach compote that is utterly pervaded by lemon, making the mouth water and tingle with its brightness. This is a wonderful tightrope between candied lemon and juiciest peach compote, teetering deliciously, lusciously even and oozing such fruitiness, such purity and poise. The finish adds the most gorgeous smattering of white pepper, which gives an extra thrill. (Sweet)
