1882, Spätburgunder, 2021

A tiny production cuvee of just 120 bottles, the auction 1882 Spatburgunder is a blend of the best parcels that they own – Pares, Horn and Auf dem Haun. The idea is to show the strong character of Ingelheim and it’s limestone profile. It exudes beautifully deep berried fruits, plush tannins and a cooling wash of salt and mineral infused acidity. It grows in stature as you spend with time with it, an elegant, attractive and very drinkable Pinot from Dr. Simone Adams.
