Family Farm Vineyard, Pinot Noir, 2023
Planted in 2000, the first single vineyard after Kevin’s back yard. Based on alluvial soils, which make this open, forward with charming, with bright, red fruit top notes. Expressive and very aromatic with more earthy suggestions as well as offering both a riper fruit and a more savoury base. Lots of wild strawberry and cherry flavours; this is broad, expansive and very generous on the palate, before it culminates in a mineral, earthy, pine scented finish. Supple and ready to enjoy immediately. No new oak, 100% destemmed.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Family Farm is friendly and approachable. Black cherry, lavender and subtle earthy undertones lend plenty of immediacy. The 2023 is creamy and fruit-driven through the mid-palate, with total textural suaveness and just enough grip to keep it lively. Not the most complex or structured in the range, but undeniably delicious.
