Mortlach 20 Year Old We’ve always admired Mortlach for its confidence. The 20-year-old shows the distillery’s full character — dark fruit, roasted malt, and a savoury richness that lingers beautifully. It’s the whisky we’d pour after a long winter dinner, when the lights dim and conversation turns slower. It’s special because it delivers real depth without losing balance — bold, elegant, and perfect for sharing by the fire.

The Singleton of Dufftown 25 Year Old There’s generosity at the heart of this whisky. Long aged in a trio of oak casks, it opens with honeyed tropical fruit, soft spice, and a finish that stretches on. It’s the bottle we’d open as the first guests arrive or when the last course has been cleared — smooth, welcoming, and quietly luxurious. It’s special because it shows the Singleton style at its most graceful, ideal for toasting the season.

Royal Lochnagar Selected Reserve We turn to Royal Lochnagar for its poise. The Selected Reserve brings together polished oak, fruitcake sweetness, and Highland spice. It’s the kind of whisky that fits a slow afternoon, or that quiet pause before another round of celebrations. It’s special because it feels timeless — one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland, Royal Lochnagar is known for producing very little, but when it does, it shines.

Dailuaine 21 Year Old, Special Releases 2025 Few whiskies feel more suited to the season. Fully matured in Spanish oak, this Dailuaine is rich with dark chocolate, dried fruit, and roasted nut. It’s the bottle we’d pour after a long walk in the cold, or late into the evening when the room grows still. It’s special because it brings warmth and tradition together in perfect balance — a comforting whisky for winter nights.
