Rothwell Hyde, 2015

One Abreu's most defining wines, the Rothwell Hyde is blend of co-fermented grapes from Cappella and Madrona on the western edge St Helena. The 2015 is a beautifully balanced wine that combines power with grace. While it is approachable in its youth, it also has the tannic structure and acidity to age gracefully. Flavors of blackberry dark chocolate, and black currant unfold with each sip, complemented by nuanced hints of licorice, clove, and a touch of leather.
