Gripping but classy, noble tannins that cover the stony mineral fruit with a velvet cloak. Such a bright underlying minerality shines through here. The freshness comes from this rather than any particularly racy fruit. Really very complex, smoothly-textured and accomplished.
Expressive, full and driven whilst showing immense composure. Top class Grand Cru. Fermented with 30% whole bunches.
