Château Giscours

Château Giscours, a prominent Margaux estate, spans over 80 hectares in Labarde and consistently delivers wines that uphold its 3ème Cru Classé status. Once in decline, the estate saw significant improvements after Nicholas Tari's acquisition in 1952, with further investment by Dutch businessman Eric Albada Jelgersma, who took ownership in 1995.

Giscours's wine is typically a blend of blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc. Fermented in temperature-controlled tanks, it then ages for 18 months in oak barrels, with 30-40% new oak.
