Domaine Perrot Minot
Chambolle Musigny, La Combe d'Orveau, Cuvée Ultra, 2014
justerini & brooks tasting note
Intense ripe suave red and dark berry fruit with a lively refreshing streak of flint, salt and mineral running through it. Racy and vivid without losing any of its richness or generosity. Finely-balanced, intense, hugely complex and concentrated but leaves you invigorated and wanting more. Stunning. A parcel of 70 years old vines, adjacent to le Musigny that usually produces seven barrels, two of which are bottled under the appellation Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru La Combe d’Orveaux, Cuvée Ultra, the rest are blended into the Chambolle Villages.
