critic reviews
The 2019 Meursault Les Grands Charrons has an elegant and succinct nose that gains complexity in the glass, with orchard fruit, praline, almond and orange blossom aromas. The palate is likewise elegant, even if it is not the most complex Meursault you will find. Yet it is seductive and there is a welcome bitter edge on the finish. Fine. Tasted at the Meursault dinner in Hong Kong.
The 2019 Meursault Les Grands Charrons has turned out very well, exhibiting aromas of pear, green apple, white flowers, citrus oil, toasted almonds and praline. Medium to full-bodied, layered and chiseled, it's taut and concentrated, with tangy acids and a penetrating finish.
