Floral red fruits, crisp crunchy fresh fruit flavours of plum, raspberry and cherry. Lively, full of energy and with a gripping structure. A young vines cuvée planted on the traditional clay limestone soils of the area but with a sandier top soil than neighbouring vineyards.

The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Aux Reignots 1er Cru, raised in 55% new oak, has an exquisite bouquet that frankly puts the preceding Nuits Saint-Georges in the shade: wonderful, expressive red berry fruit, crushed stone and pressed violets, all with superb delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with svelte tannins. This is a little oaky at the moment, but that will be absorbed. Very fine.
