Thibaud’s smallest parcel lies in the village of Savennières, where schist soils with a higher proportion of clay typically yield broader more concentrated wines. Raised entirely in foudre, the 2023 is slightly more restrained than in previous years, with notes of tangerine citrus, pear and nectarine. The palate has a waxy, oily texture shaped by orange zest and chamomile spice. A saline freshness keeps focused through the finish.
