Tasting Note:

Formerly “Monopol”, the Schloss Riesling Trocken is designed to be a “very true expression of the Grünhaus style”. Indeed, as far as Gutswein goes, this is a pretty electric example, offering up lovely clear crisp apple and slate sensations with fine herb aromas. Incredibly salty with great nerve and acidity. Elegant and precise and just 11.5% ABV (half a degree below 2018 and 2019). Aged in a combination of stainless steel and large traditional fuders.
