Tasting Note:

There have been many great Brunates from Marengo over the years, it seems that every year the quality bar is raised and the style just becomes more and more refined. 2007 is his greatest effort yet. This mixes the “Brunate” power, sultry earthiness and spice with a beautiful and very clear red fruit character in the Burgundian mould, wonderful and truly uplifting flavours of juicy wild strawberries, red cherry, bullace, dried flower, Victoria plum and wineberry together with notes of earth, deep minerals and cinnamon.
