The world's first luxury tequila, Don Julio was established in 1942 by Don Julio González. Spotting a unique opportunity in the production of tequila, he dedicated the next 40 years painstakingly attending to each agave plant, ensuring each plant was harvested one by one and picked only when they hit optimum maturity and health.

Don Julio didn't think of his agave as a crop, he considered them his children And through his extraordinary devotion to making exceptional tequila, his legend lives on today.
