Tasting Note:

Montrose’s “Prestige” cuvée is a lovely blend of Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino) and Syrah from the Domaine’s best volcanic and Villafranchien terrasses. Sealed with a glass stopper for easy yet elegant access it’s a great alternative to Provencale pink offering a quality of wine you’d expect to pay far more for if coming from its more expensive neighbouring appellation. Ripe citrus fruits, fine red berry, a touch of marine salinity and a delicate yet crisp mouthfeel make this a smart choice – as easy on the palate as it is on the eye and the wallet. Situated in Pezenas, just south of Montpellier, dating back to 1701, this family run domaine very seldom puts a foot wrong, and is certified Carbon Neutral to boot.
