The NV Tio Pepe Fino en Rama 2022 wears a green label to make it easily recognizable next to other bottlings. This is selected and bottled around March/April every year. Tasted next to the previous year's bottling, this feels young and a bit creamy and mellow ("mantecoso" is the word they use in Spanish). It has a pale golden color, slightly hazy, as it's unfined and unfiltered, taking you to the wine as close as possible as it is in the bota. It has nutty aromas, hints of brine and dry hay, with hints of yeasts and a citrus twist. The palate is bone dry with a delicate mouthfeel but with pungent, tasty flavors. It finishes dry and with a chalky sensation.
