Viñedos de Páganos

Another piece of the Eguren's empire, Vinedos de Paganos is a 25 hectare vineyard situated at 600 metres above sea level in the Rioja Alavesa. The grapes are exhaustively hand selected at harvest time followed by a double bunch and berry sorting in the winery. Malcolactic fermentation takes place in new french oak barrel and rests there for 18 months. The result is a dazzling, beautifully-pitched modern style Rioja complimentary to the Eguren's other modern classic, Senorio de San Vicente, showing less density, more elegance and redder fruit character than its stable mate.
