Sierra de Gredos

Sierra de Gredos is one of the most exciting wine regions in Spain; situated west of Madrid and high into the mountains. The region itself belongs to three different, overlapping regions but has created a reputation entirely for itself, based on old-vine Garnacha tempered by the dizzying altitudes and inhospitable vineyards dotted across these rocky, mountain ranges.

This altitude is a key factor in the light, fresh style of the Garnacha here, as well as its concentrated flavour. Some of Spain´s most innovative wine-makers have forged their identities here, including 4 Monos Viticultores, producing delicate, nuanced Garnacha, so called the “Pinot Noir of Spain”!
