Burgundy

When we decided to add a commemorative 275th anniversary label to our range, it had to be our Bourgogne Rouge. The producer behind this cuvee is a closely guarded secret, but we can reveal that it’s a great name from the Côte de Nuits, and the fruit hails from vineyards in Vosne-Romanéee and Flagey-Echézeaux. Pomerol

The architects behind l’Eglise Client, the Durantou family, have encapsulated everything we hoped for with the 2021 version of our House Pomerol. It has a gently scented bouquet of fresh flowers, crisp hedgerow fruit and garrigue. The palate is silky smooth with layers of damson, cassis, sweet red berries and blood orange, cosseted by seductive tannins, with a bright, refreshing acidity and a moreish saline finish. Bordeaux

The current release of our reserve claret hails from the exceptional 2019 vintage. Made as ever by the father and son team of Paul and Cédric Valade, this Cote de Castillon combines notes of sour cherry, plum, and iris with hints of cedar, graphite, tobacco and spice. Produced from 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, this is a perfect accompaniment for roasts and hard cheeses or just enjoyed on its own. Champagne 250th

Now 25 years on from the introduction of our Justerini & Brooks 250th Anniversary Cuvée Champagne, and its popularity remains undimmed! Produced for us by a proper family operation in the Aube, from pure Pinot Noir. A hugely satisfying glass of Champagne, it revels in lip-smacking golden fruit and bright red berries with a toasty, biscuity bite that adds a very grown-up level of satisfaction. Champagne Sarcey

The old family run Boizel house who were established in 1834 have for decades been using some of their best cuvées for our Sarcey Champagne. The blend comprises the region’s three grape varieties Chardonnay, Meunier and Pinot Noir, the latter the dominant component. A wine of exquisite balance, backbone, poise and structure, showing red berry flavours, a toasty richness and zesty citrus rind notes. Mosel Riesling

We are very proud of our new house Riesling. Bottled in partnership with Mosel royalty Weingut Fritz Haag, one of our longest-standing producers, this perfectly balanced, crisp, dry-tasting Riesling is a unique blend developed exclusively for Justerini & Brooks. It speaks to everything we adore about fine Mosel Riesling. Light in body with a fresh finesse and crisp slatey undertones, it is imbued with a wash of sparkling citrussy fruits. Barolo

Our J&B Barolo was produced by rising star estate Figli Luigi Oddero. A Barolo Classico blend, the 2018 includes stellar vineyards from three of the leading communes: 45% Serralunga d’Alba, 30% Castiglione Falletto and 25% La Morra. Produced in a pure, classical style with hallmark Nebbiolo notes of strawberries, cherries, violet and stones, this juicy 2018 will thrill for its vibrancy and succulence of fruit.
