As ever, the Durantou family has encapsulated exactly what we want in our House Pomerol, this time from the 2021 vintage. In fact, this is fast becoming our favourite rendition to date with its gently scented bouquet of fresh flowers, crisp hedgerow fruit and garrigue. The palate is silky smooth with layers of damsons, cassis, sweet red berries and blood orange, cosseted by seductive tannins, with a bright, refreshing acidity and a moreish saline finish. Absolutely delicious!
