critic reviews

Medium red. Wild, soil-inflected aromas of red cherry, spices, underbrush, white pepper, dried herbs, smoke, peony and rose petal. Nicely plump on entry, then vibrant and delineated in the middle palate, with captivating floral lift to the flavors of red cherry, raspberry, spices and herbs. Wonderfully subtle, vibrant and long on the back end, with the red fruit and spice flavors accented and extended by stony minerality.
