Recent vintages display laser like precision. The flavours are so fine and detailed and the tannins have this wonderful velour texture. This is such an assured, confident Cheval. There is certainly a lot of substance and some glorious fruit and floral character, however, it never comes across as a fruit bomb. Plush, svelte, mineral with sumptuous mouth coating tannins, this is a very grown up and serious Cheval Blanc. 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Franc.
