Aromatic open and inviting, notes of juicy pink grapefruit giving way to a savoury salty note. There is an attractive and perfumed ripeness here that many whites in 2024 lack, alongside an excellent crispy, crunch that firms the wine up nicely. Fresh and with a great core of complex fruit. A blend of 78% Sauvignon Blanc picked from the 5th to the 11th September, and 22% Semillon picked on 5th September. Aged in a mixture of steel tank and oak barrels.

Sails out of the glass with vibrant notes of freshly squeezed lemons, grapefruit juice, and lime blossoms, followed by hints of white pepper and chalk dust. The light to medium-bodied palate is super-intense with vibrant citrus layers and amazing tension, finishing long and zesty.

The 2024 Grand Village Blanc was picked from September 5 to 11. This has a vivacious bouquet with lime flower, honeysuckle and light wild peach notes that are beautifully defined. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a lightly spiced opening. It is delineated with just a dab of orange rind on the finish. The 2024 is irresistible.

Fragrant aromatics on the opening, grated coconut, citrus, lime zest, soft ginger, white pear, this is great quality, sappy and moreish. 50% barrels, 50% stainless steel, 1.8ha of clay limestone, Harvest 5 to 11 September. Small part from Sancerre massal selections, 52h/h yield, Lafleur team.
