Sancerre, Charlouise, 2020

The 2020 Charlouise will be released after the 2021 vintage as it's a much bigger, riper style. The 2021 is a more delicate, fruity, flirty expression. The 2020 is dark purple with masses of substance despite remaining light on its feet. It is positively brimming with a chalky texture from start to finish. The finish is sweetly fruited and long. The alcohol at 14.5% is well integrated.
