The 2022 Grüner Veltliner Strass is picked in the village of Strass and reflects the estate's soils of loess. It is a pre-harvest of single sites with some skin contact. Relatively clear juice is fermented with cultured yeast in stainless steel, and the wine stays on gross lees until filtration in the new year. Pear on the nose is suffused with yeast, leading to a super-smooth, almost mild palate that has just a slight smattering of tingling white pepper on the finish. (Bone-dry)
