Château Mouton Rothschild, 1er Cru Classé, Pauillac, 2006

1 case
Equiv. £416.67 per bottle

Tasting Note:

Dark, saturated purple colour; with equally dark berry fruit that shows great sweetness and ripeness on the nose, with a touch of vanilla pod and pencil lead minerality, hints of leather and espresso; perfect integration of fine tannins on the palate, opulent richness balanced with pure freshness. This is remarkably persistent and balanced, and promises to develop into a hedonistic delight for long term enjoyment. One of the wines of the vintage without a doubt, and better than this château's 2005. A blend of 87% cabernet sauvignon and 13% merlot.
