Tasting Note:

Who'd be biodynamic in Bordeaux? Just 11hl/ha achieved at Chateau Palmer this year, which equates to 6000 cases. As a result, there's no Alter Ego. Initially very modern, dark and glossy with notes of fruit pastels, flowers, griotte, seaweed, black cherry, black tea, prunes and incense. It appears to be velvety and decadent but lacks energy. It's all a bit ripe and overblown for us. An extreme interpretation of the new Palmer style. 40% Merlot, 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot.
