The 2023 Gewurztraminer Altenbourg shines with ripe, smooth Comice pear on the nose, only gently framed by a touch of tender rose petal with a lovely tangerine-tinged freshness. The palate is just as citrus- and pear-scented, beautifully balanced, wonderfully understated and so focused.
