Hugel et Fils

Hugel & Fils was founded in 1639, it is still 100% family owned and is managed by the 12th consecutive generation today. Owners of a 70 acre estate in Riquewihr in prime sites, more than half of which are Grand Cru, planted with only the noble grape varieties of Alsace. The Hugel family were the pioneers of late-harvest Alsace wines, drafting a law enshrining their production in 1984. Hugel & Fils are members of the Primum Familiae Vini - an exclusive association of some of the world's most prestigious wine dynasties.
