The 2019 Bonalgue has a fresh bouquet of blackberry, raspberry and light sous-bois aromas, hints of shaved truffle emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, quite sweet and concentrated, and almost viscous on the finish, which feels very persistent. A little heady in style, yet well crafted.

Cocoa bean, espresso and damson fruits, with silky tannins that are classic Pomerol. This is a great wine for showcasing the charms of the appellation, and provides typicity without too much concentration, making it also a good choice for early to medium term drinking.
