Le Petit Cheval, Blanc, St Emilion, 2022

Grassy and citric nose, grass aroma dissipates with air. Rich and decadent on the palate. Green apple, lemon pith, white peach, peach stone, wildflowers. A gentle vanilla spice and mineral saltiness on the finish adds freshness. Picked 17th of august so missed the later heat waves in late august. Aged in large barrels for 22 months to give volume and weight and to shed austerity.
