The 2025 Les Pagodes de Cos Blanc contains more Sémillon due to the higher yield. It has a very refined bouquet, very pure and seductive, scents of white flowers, yellow plum and just a hint of chamomile. Oddly, it is a little Chardonnay-like! The palate is well balanced, with a crisp, edgy entry. I appreciate the acidity here, bright and lively, with a tang of lemongrass complementing the peachy fruit on the finish. Will be difficult to resist once in bottle.
Juicy white peach and pear, a joyful white, full of zip and lift. Mint leaf, crushed rocks, liquorice, generous texture. No need to wait and yet full of potential to deepen further over next fw years. Harvest August 25 to September 3. 12% new oak. 3.09 pH.
The 2025 Pagodes de Cos Blanc, a blend of 67% Sémillon and 33% Sauvignon Blanc, reveals aromas of confit citrus, white fruits—pear and white peach—and a touch of spice, though the nose remains somewhat introverted at this stage. Medium-bodied, juicy and elegant, it combines a sense of straightness with a seamless texture, returning to notes of confit citrus and fresh citrus on the finish.
