The 2022 Château de Fieuzal Blanc has a bright nose with freshly sliced pear, lime and orange blossom aromas. It has impressive vigor compared to its peers. The palate is well balanced with a rounded, slightly soft entry, but it coheres nicely. It is lightly spiced with well-judged acidity and hints of chamomile and vervain on the finish. This is a well-crafted white Pessac.

A blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Semillon, the 2022 de Fieuzal Blanc exhibits aromas of spring flowers, lemon oil, al dente pear and peach with flinty hints. Juicy, round and deep, fleshy and fresh with a medium to full-bodied palate, it has a slightly phenolic finish. The aging process should reduce the slight austerity and bring more flesh and substance.
