    Fresher red-ruby color. Deeper aromas of plum, chocolate and smoky oak. Fat, sweet and pliant in the mouth, with black fruit and smoky oak notes; by far the warmest and most inviting of these three vintages, with rather low acidity. Tannins began rather lush, but showed a dusty quality with aeration.
