Chateau Valade, St Emilion, 2010

Coming from three different parcels from around the village of St Christophe des Bardes. The blend is a typical 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Aromatic, with hints of flowers, clove, sweet spice and decadent black fruits. Beautiful cool dark fruit core with fine but powerful tannic structure. Very seductive and pure. More than a match for many of the St Emilions shown at the UGC tasting.
