Anne Boisson
Meursault, Sous La Velle, 2015
Ready
2018 - 2030justerini & brooks tasting note
A very different kettle of fish to the Meursault. Floral, lush and opulent stone fruits. A rich wine, on the attack, at least and with a creamy texture, but the tightening finish brings the flavours together and gives this a lovely definition. On the more exuberant side of the Boisson Vadot spectrum but lovely with it! A vineyard with more clay influence that those of the Meursault villages, giving a fuller, fruitier wine. Aged in no more than a third new new oak barrels for 18 months.
