Meursault, Les Grands Charrons, 2013

A Meursault of exuberant fruit and spice notes, rich lemon, candied orange peel and ripe greengage, juicy and full of fruit but also mouth-watering and sculpted, with a fine mineral and bitter lemon quality on the finish. Superb. Average age of the vines is 25 years old, after picking by hand the grapes are sorted and the wine is then aged for 21 months in oak barrels with 40% new wood.
