Another notable success is the 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes, a beautifully pure, sensual wine that wafts from the glass with scents of raspberries, exotic spices, damask roses, blood orange and cocoa powder. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and vibrant, it's fleshy, melting and precise. If it develops as well as I suspect it will, it's likely to rank among Tremblay's finest Feusselottes to date, the challenges of the vintage notwithstanding.

The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru contains around 10% stems. This has a fragrant bouquet with raspberry and mulberry scents, gaining intensity in the glass whilst maintaining delineation. The palate is graceful and tender like Tremblay's other 2021s. Plenty of freshness, gentle grip with a saline finish that lingers in the mouth. Wonderful.
